About this artwork

In Batman portrait 31, the composition keeps its light to a minimum, with steady contrast throughout. cyan and emerald carry most of the surface. Saturation runs high, giving the piece real presence on a wall. Hang it where daylight reaches; the shadow passages need illumination to give up their detail.
