About this artwork

The palette of Writing Thank You Notes leans towards darker tones, with clear but unforced separation of light and dark. Expect sky blue and red to dominate the surface. The palette is bold and immediately readable from a distance. It gives weight to a wall without dominating the conversation in the room.

Part of our George Hughes collection, a group of 105 works built around one universe. Collectors of this universe often hang it alongside Highway Boatride and Young Charles Atlas.

Choose between a fine art print and a hand-painted oil. The print uses pigment inks on synthetic canvas; the painting is executed in oil on cotton canvas by a senior artist and takes several weeks. You approve the finished work from photographs and a video before we pack it.

This is a portrait format, 1:1.09, which works between two windows or above a chest of drawers. 10 sizes are available, the figure always describing the shorter side of the canvas: from 30 x 33 cm up to 150 x 164 cm. All sizes ship rolled. Stretched and framed options stop at 100 cm, where the box becomes too large to send.

Pricing opens at $94 for the smallest print. Delivery is express, tracked, worldwide, and included in the price. Returns are accepted for 15 days.
