About this artwork

A Red Red Rose 1920 sits comfortably between light and dark, with pronounced contrast. Its dominant tones run through magenta and red. The palette is rich but never garish. This middle register suits open-plan rooms where the light changes through the day.

Printed or painted, the choice is yours. Pigment inks on synthetic canvas for the print. Oil on cotton canvas, applied by hand over several weeks, for the painting. We photograph and film every finished piece and send it to you before shipping.

Portrait at 1:1.66: taller than it is wide, and better suited to a chimney breast than a long wall. There are 10 sizes, and in each one the number refers to the shorter side: 30 x 50 cm at the smallest, 150 x 248 cm at the largest. Rolled delivery is possible at all sizes. If you want it stretched or framed, 90 cm is the limit, set by carrier volume rules rather than by us.

The entry price is $120 for the smallest print. Tracked express delivery is included wherever you are, and you have 15 days to change your mind.
