About this artwork

In The Labyrinth’s Ancient Oath, the composition works in near-nocturnal tones, holding a moderate tonal spread. cyan and emerald carry most of the surface. Colour is the first thing the eye registers here. Because so little of it is lit, it holds its own in a bright room and will not be washed out by a window.
