About this artwork

Il Dono - The Gift is a piece that holds a mid-toned, even light, with values that collide rather than blend — red and orange run through nearly every passage. The palette is deliberately understated. This middle register suits open-plan rooms where the light changes through the day.

Printed or painted, the choice is yours. Pigment inks on synthetic canvas for the print. Oil on cotton canvas, applied by hand over several weeks, for the painting. Before anything is dispatched you receive photographs and a video of the finished work.

At 1:1.96 it is emphatically upright — a shape made for double-height walls and stairwells. Sizes run from 30 x 59 cm to 150 x 294 cm — 10 in all, each named after its shorter side. Every size can be sent rolled. Stretching and framing are available to 80 cm — past that the volumetric weight goes beyond what any carrier will take.

Expect $133 for the smallest print. Express tracked delivery is on us, anywhere in the world, and you are covered for 15 days.
