Romulan Warbird Cloaked in Green Light — Print & Oil Painting

There is not one star in this picture. The ground is a flat mottled green from edge to edge, thick as fog, with a single pale column of light standing behind the ship, and the effect is of a vessel photographed indoors.

The design is built around a hole. An upper spine and a lower keel run from the head at the left to the drive blocks at the right and touch nowhere in between, so the middle of the ship is empty space with a clean elliptical outline. Most warships fill their volume. This one frames a gap and dares you to call it waste.

The head is the part that reads as an animal: a smooth tapered skull tipped downward, a bird device stamped on the flank in low relief, and fine white window specks scattered across the plating like frost. Rectangular blocks glow hard green at the far end of each wing, and a smaller green eye burns above the shoulder.

What drives all of it is a captive singularity held and fed inside the hull, which is an alarming way to run a ship and exactly the solution that Empire preferred.
