Two green discs glow on the wall behind her, each a circular display filled with a branching vein-like pattern, and they are the only saturated colour in the picture. Everything else is held to grey, steel and one amber strip of light along the upper right.

The setting is machinery rather than architecture. Ducts, clamps, ribbed columns and heavy dark blocks stack up on both sides and recede into shadow, and although a console with a lit panel does sit at the right where one hand rests, the surroundings read as a Borg compartment far more than as a Starfleet one.

The drawing is comic-book work: firm contours, flat cel shading, a strong rim light down the near arm. The suit is silver-grey with an openwork lattice worked across the arms and shoulders and pulled down off them, which is a pin-up convention rather than anything the series ever put her in. Above the left brow the implant is rendered as a cluster of gold and green instead of the fine silver armature of the screen version, and a second patch of it sits on the upper arm.

The green behind her is the honest part of the image. She did not sleep, she stood in an alcove and regenerated, and machinery of exactly this kind is what she was raised inside. It comes from our Star Trek collection, next to Borg Cube Drifting in a Green Nebula.
