Bolvar Fordragon portrait 5 keeps its values low and close, with readable but never harsh modelling. Its dominant tones run through cyan and sky blue. Chroma is pushed hard, and the work is louder for it. Against white paint the contrast is emphatic; against a mid grey it becomes subtler.
