About this artwork

Batman portrait 48 holds a dusk-like darkness, with clear but unforced separation of light and dark. Its dominant tones run through cyan and red. The colour is vivid and carries the composition. Against white paint the contrast is emphatic; against a mid grey it becomes subtler.

You will find it in our DC Universe collection, alongside 89 works in total. It pairs naturally with Batman portrait 19 and Joker portrait 4 if you want more than one piece.

Two ways to own it. The fine art print reproduces the image on synthetic canvas with pigment inks, holding the brush texture of the original. The hand-painted version is repainted in oil on cotton canvas by one of our senior artists, so no two copies are alike. Nothing leaves the studio before you have seen photographs and a short video of it.

The artwork is portrait-oriented, in a 1:1.19 ratio — it draws the eye upward and suits a narrower wall. 10 sizes are available, the figure always describing the shorter side of the canvas: from 30 x 36 cm up to 150 x 179 cm. Rolled delivery is possible at all sizes. If you want it stretched or framed, 100 cm is the limit, set by carrier volume rules rather than by us.

Pricing opens at $99 for the smallest print. Delivery is express, tracked, worldwide, and included in the price. Returns are accepted for 15 days.
