About this artwork

Batman with Joker 6 holds a mid-toned, even light, with sharp separation between highlights and shadow. Its dominant tones run through cyan and red. The colour is present without shouting. It is forgiving about wall colour, which is not true of every piece in the catalogue.

This one comes from our DC Universe collection — 89 works sharing a single world. It hangs comfortably beside Batman portrait 83 and Batman portrait 84.

Two ways to own it. The fine art print reproduces the image on synthetic canvas with pigment inks, holding the brush texture of the original. The hand-painted version is repainted in oil on cotton canvas by one of our senior artists, so no two copies are alike.
