About this artwork

The palette of Ticket for Roadster distributes light without favouring either extreme, with values that collide rather than blend. Expect orange and amber to dominate the surface. The hues are full without tipping into excess. Its even key makes it one of the easier pieces to place — it neither fights the wall nor disappears into it.

This one comes from our George Hughes collection — 105 works sharing a single world. Nearby in the same collection: Christmas Train Set and Rain on the Boardwalk.

Two ways to own it. The fine art print reproduces the image on synthetic canvas with pigment inks, holding the brush texture of the original. The hand-painted version is repainted in oil on cotton canvas by one of our senior artists, so no two copies are alike. We photograph and film every finished piece and send it to you before shipping.

Square work hangs well in pairs and in grids, and this one is no exception. There are 10 sizes, and in each one the number refers to the shorter side: 30 x 30 cm at the smallest, 150 x 150 cm at the largest. Rolled canvas ships at every size; stretched and framed finishes are offered up to 100 cm, beyond which the parcel exceeds what carriers accept.

Pricing opens at $90 for the smallest print. Delivery is express, tracked, worldwide, and included in the price. Returns are accepted for 15 days.
