About this artwork

Isenguard Orthanc Uruk Hai army 2 distributes light without favouring either extreme, with pronounced contrast — orange and red set its overall key. Colour carries weight while staying plausible. Neutral in tone, it sits comfortably alongside other artwork rather than competing.

Part of our Lord of the Rings collection, a group of 470 works built around one universe. It hangs comfortably beside Aragorn fighting orcs, goblins and Arwen and Nazguls on horses at Bruinen landscape 6.

This piece exists in two forms. Printed, it is pigment ink on synthetic canvas — accurate, stable, and faithful to the original texture. Painted, it is oil on cotton canvas, worked by hand, and unique by definition. Nothing leaves the studio before you have seen photographs and a short video of it.

This is a portrait format, 1:1.4, which works between two windows or above a chest of drawers. Pick from 10 sizes between 30 x 42 cm and 150 x 210 cm. The size you choose is always the shorter edge. Rolled delivery is possible at all sizes. If you want it stretched or framed, 100 cm is the limit, set by carrier volume rules rather than by us.
