About this artwork

Nazguls and Frodo at Amon Hen reads in a calm middle register, with sharp separation between highlights and shadow. Its dominant tones run through emerald and cyan. The palette is rich but never garish. It is forgiving about wall colour, which is not true of every piece in the catalogue.

The piece sits in our Lord of the Rings collection, a set of 470 works on the same theme. If you are building a wall around that theme, it sits well next to Frodo and Sam near the Mount Doom Mordor and Rohirrim charging in Pelennor Fields.

Two ways to own it. The fine art print reproduces the image on synthetic canvas with pigment inks, holding the brush texture of the original. The artwork is portrait-oriented, in a 1:1.5 ratio — it draws the eye upward and suits a narrower wall. There are 10 sizes, and in each one the number refers to the shorter side: 30 x 45 cm at the smallest, 150 x 225 cm at the largest. Rolled delivery is possible at all sizes. If you want it stretched or framed, 100 cm is the limit, set by carrier volume rules rather than by us.
