About this artwork
Look at Mumakil Versus Rohirims on Pelennor Fields and the first thing you notice is that it is anchored in low, quiet light, in a balanced tonal range. orange and red do most of the work. Saturation runs high, giving the piece real presence on a wall. Against white paint the contrast is emphatic; against a mid grey it becomes subtler.
