About this artwork

In Rohirrim charging in Pelennor Fields 5, the composition sits comfortably between light and dark, cut by hard tonal edges. orange and red carry most of the surface. Chroma sits at a comfortable, lifelike level. Its even key makes it one of the easier pieces to place — it neither fights the wall nor disappears into it.

Part of our Lord of the Rings collection, a group of 470 works built around one universe. It hangs comfortably beside Lake Town Esgaroth 3 and Lake Town Esgaroth 10.

The image is offered as a fine art print on synthetic canvas, made with pigment inks, and as a hand-painted oil on cotton canvas produced to order by one of our senior artists. We photograph and film every finished piece and send it to you before shipping.

The artwork is strongly panoramic, at 1:2, made for a long horizontal run of wall where a squarer piece would look lost. 10 sizes are available, the figure always describing the shorter side of the canvas: from 60 x 30 cm up to 300 x 150 cm. Rolled canvas ships at every size; stretched and framed finishes are offered up to 80 cm, beyond which the parcel exceeds what carriers accept.
