Game art is built from light: emissive shaders, volumetric fog, colour grading no camera ever saw. Translating that into pigment is the interesting problem. Our painters rebuild those glows with glazing and scumbling, keep the blacks deep without letting them go flat, and let the canvas weave do what a screen cannot, which is hold light instead of emitting it.
