About this artwork

Giant Fire Balrog versus Gandalf 2 is anchored in low, quiet light, with measured contrast. Its dominant tones run through red and orange. Chroma sits at a comfortable, lifelike level. Against white paint the contrast is emphatic; against a mid grey it becomes subtler.
