The Bad Batch Battle Through Sparks and Debris — Print & Oil Painting

An inked action poster, printed inside a cream border with visible paper grain, and pitched at maximum density: five figures, a scatter of battle droids, and red bolts crossing the entire sheet on long diagonals from corner to corner. There is no empty area anywhere in the composition.

The upper half is a brawl. A heavy figure in a red headband stands at the top with both arms up, taking a spindly tan droid apart at close quarters while another droid falls away to the left with an arm still raised. A second trooper aims a long rifle out to the right, and a third with big round goggle lenses set into his helmet fires a pistol from the left edge.

The lower half belongs to two figures pushed close to the picture plane. On the right, a dark helmet with a hard angular visor fills the corner above a rifle held across the body, the largest head in the poster, and the only one facing us. On the left, an armoured shoulder and arm are wrapped in blue electrical arcs, drawn as jagged white-cored lines that fork and branch across the plating.

Those arcs are the one decision that makes the sheet work. Everything else, from sky and armour to droids and bolts, sits in a band of red, maroon, ochre and burnt orange, and the blue is the sole cool event in the entire image. Placed at the bottom left, it stops the eye from sliding out of the corner and sends it back up through the fight.
