Boba Fett Walks Past Fallen Stormtroopers Near a Volcano — Print & Oil Painting

A tall canvas, a wide dry landscape, and a man walking left to right across it without hurrying. Boba Fett is shown in near profile, cut against a pale blue sky, the blaster pistol carried loose in his right hand and pointed at the ground.

The armour is worn as a working outfit rather than a costume. Green helmet with faded maroon markings and the antenna up, a scuffed chest plate, a broad cartridge belt slung at the hip, a red-brown gauntlet on the forearm, a teal jetpack on the back, and a long dark kama hanging almost to the ankles and moving with the stride.

Two stormtroopers are on the ground. One lies at the lower left, face down with the helmet turned away; a second is reduced to a white leg and boot at the bottom right corner, half out of frame. Neither is given any drama at all: they are painted the way rocks are painted, as things lying on the ground.

The country behind is genuinely handsome: rounded boulders, low scrub, dry grass, hills going soft blue in the distance. Behind the ridge at the right a column of black smoke climbs from a bright orange fire, and it is the only violent thing left in the picture. Everything else has already happened.
