A Hooded Sith Lord Crosses Twin Blades in a Corridor — Print & Oil Painting

The whole image is built on one letter. Two blades cross low in front of the body to form a wide X, red running down to the left, violet-white running down to the right, and the polished deck repeats both of them as long soft reflections so the shape closes into a diamond.

The figure inside it is almost unlit. A deep hood swallows the head, leaving a hard-edged mask with a narrow dark visor and a ridged lower face; below that, layered plate over the shoulders and abdomen with pale piping along every seam, heavy vambraces, a broad belt hung with pouches, and a long crimson tabard falling the length of a black robe.

All the light in the picture is practical. Strip lamps run along the bulkheads on both sides, a red panel glows at the right, and the corridor recedes symmetrically behind the shoulders, which leaves the costume to be read almost entirely as silhouette and edge.

The two blade colours are the argument. Red on one side and something closer to a Jedi crystal on the other is not a mistake of the painting, it is the whole biography of the kind of lord this armour belongs to, a figure the old stories keep moving from one side to the other and back.
