Look at Maz Kanata portrait and the first thing you notice is that it holds a dusk-like darkness, with steady contrast throughout. red and sky blue do most of the work. Chroma sits at a comfortable, lifelike level. Against white paint the contrast is emphatic; against a mid grey it becomes subtler.
